Educational System
- The academic year is divided into two semesters: each is fifteen weeks long. The faculty is allowed to organize a summer semester for six weeks long where the student can register in a maximum of two of the courses offered and it is either of courses previously required or courses that the student has already completed its previous requirements.
- The student chooses the major that will earn him his bachelor’s degree in the fifth semester and, after successfully completing the faculty’s requirements for the major’s courses, the student needs to enroll in the previous requirements for the fifth semester.
- Study in the faculty is based on the credit hour system and this is used to measure the weight of the curriculum.
- The medium of teaching in the faculty is the English language.
- To get a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources Management, or Management Information Systems (MIS), the student should successfully pass the minimum of the credit hours (130 hours) to graduate.

Grading System
The GPA is calculated for each student at the end of each semester as a weighted average with the credit hours for every course. This is done as follows:
Student’s GPA = Total (Grade X number of credit hours for each course) ÷ Number of credit hours received during years of study.
The CGPA of a student should not be less than 2.0 (C) at graduation. If the student completed the total credit hours for the bachelor’s degree in a specific major and didn’t meet the required GPA, he can choose a maximum of three courses in each semester to complete the graduation requirements with the minimum required GPA for graduation and this after being reviewed by the relevant department’s council and the approval of the faculty’s council.

For the student to get the rank of honor he/she should complete the “studies for the rank of honor” as an additional course (3 hours) of the elective courses of his major or minor and this is calculated in the GPA and the student should not fail any of the courses of the curriculum.

Academic Load
The student registers in courses, equivalent to a maximum of 18 credit hours for each semester. He can register in courses less than this limit (the minimum being 12 credit hours in a semester) and this will depend on what the academic advisor decides. He or she can also register in more than this limit, but only after getting the approval of the academic advisor and the Dean of the faculty.
Admission starts two weeks before the beginning of the semester. The university determines the last date to drop or add a course or courses. The university also determines the last date for withdrawal from a course.
