The aim of this course is understanding some basic concepts of research and its methodologies, identifying appropriate research topics, selecting and defining appropriate research problem and parameters, preparing a project proposal (to undertake a project), organizing and conducting research (advanced project) in a more appropriate manner, writing a research report and thesis as well as research proposal. Students will gain insights into how scientific research is conducted, how to conduct critical review of literature and research trends. The course will help studnets to learn and understand the basic statistics involved in data presentation, to identify the influencing factor or determinants of research parameters, to test the significance and validity and reliability of the research results, as well as to documnet research results.
